About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am saving up money to Motorcycle across the south, south west and western parts of America
ABOUT ME
My name is Andrew. I love taking photos and keep travel journals and blogs when ever I travel. Since I recently graduated college I am free to do what ever I please so this Fall I am planning to travel around the southern part of the country for as long as possible. I am a very laid back independent, music, food, nature and art lover who enjoys meeting new people. I'm sure that's par for the course haha.
PHILOSOPHY
Fear brought us order through systems and oppression. Love will bring us order through trust and respect.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd crash anywhere with good people. I'd let good people crash where ever I was.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
At this point I have no official couch surfing experience though I have met people and crashed over night in both Ireland and Australia. I've also stayed at a plethora of hostels in those countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
http://ecsumerrilla.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/281.jpg
This photo was taken with a Nikon D60 on a k-mart tripod out in the Northern Territory of Australia. The photo is an hour long exposure of the Southern Cross. For starters, I am no Astronomer and at the time didn't even know what the Southern Cross was. So to stumble upon it in the night sky is pretty amazing to me. But, what really is amazing to me is that I was able to take the photo. The Nikon D60 is not meant to take exposures longer than 30 seconds. Infact the man at the camera store I went to before traveling to Australia informed me I would destroy the sensor by over heating it and the photo itself would come out terribly distorted. I guess by terribly distorted he meant green (which I dig)... Anyway I jimmied a solution by using a felt tip C-Clamp to hold down the button for an hour. And here is the results. Also while taking this photo I just sat down under the stars, drank cheap red wine and ate bread. At one point I was accompanied by a Dingo. I named him Ringo. I just remember laughing to myself because I was in Australia.
