CURRENT MISSION
To create a new kind of world!.. Somehow...
ABOUT ME
Hello, there my name is Andrew (technically is Andrej, but Andrew is easier to pronounce). Currently, I'm 25 and I was born in Lithuania, but my family has deep roots from Ukraine, Poland, Siberia, Tatar and Austria. I came to London about 7 years ago and ever since, I'm fully living here, though at first it seemed so big and scary. Did & went to many things around London, namely on Champions League final in 2011 in Wembley, I was trying to support Man U (even though i'm a Tottenham fan), but unfortunately, they lost... I like a bit of adventure so when I first came to London I decided not to travel by plane, but instead with a train all the way from Lithuania. I passed through Vilnius, Warsaw, Berlin, Paris, Lille, Calais, then with a ferry to Dover and from Dover I finally arrived in London. It was a long journey, but I'm quite happy I made it and saw lots of interesting things and made some new friends. I hope to make friends with some of you too! I enjoy travelling & I've been around places only in Europe (I'll get to Japan or America one day...) and managed to visit Latvia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Germany (Austria too, but just passing), France, England, Norway, Czech Republic, Italy, Hungary, Switzerland, Lichtenstein & Malta.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interests
I like lots of things. But the short version would be: Andrej likes potatoes and he likes memes. And on occasion he would open a word document only to stare at it blankly for approximately one to two hours... Perhaps he will write. Perhaps not. Who knows? Not even Andrej himself.
But the long version (old one)... Well first, I'm a big sports fan. Not only do I enjoy watching some sports, I also like to play/participate in them myself. Sometimes in the mornings, I go out jogging and a few times in a month me and my friends come together to play a game of basketball/football (or used to... before I ended up in England). I also enjoy playing chess and don't forget about computer games. I like going out with my friends as well as meeting new interesting people. I also enjoy fishing, though i wasn't able to do any of that since I came to England. I also like reading books, as well as reading short novels. I also like watching interesting movies and also I'm a fan of anime and manga. Drawing or cooking while listening to music is also part of my hobbies. But even though I mentioned so many things that I do in my spare time, I still didn't mentioned how much do I like to spend my time reading a newspaper while riding a morning tube train. It's a very London type of thing and probably nothing probably beats this... Except probably a match of football.
After the start of the pandemic, I've tried to pick up baking and can say it's probably one of the best skills I've learned!
