I grew up in San Francisco, CA, USA and enjoy running 5 miles (~8km) every day. I also enjoy biking, swimming, and lifting. I have a garden and grow fruits and veggies. I enjoy learning new things about the places I travel to and the people I meet. When I am not traveling or working, I enjoy being outdoors and exploring either by myself or with a group of people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was first introduced to CouchSurfing in July 2012 when I traveled across the United States for the first time. I joined my school's solar vehicle team and after 9 months of hard work, we built a highway capable, solar powered race car. After the team had caravaned across the country, we raced the solar car across 1650 miles on open highways and city streets.

I am looking forward to continuing my travels and am looking to meet amazing hosts and guests from other parts of the world as well.

Interests

I love hearing people's stories, journeys and struggles. I am interested in cooking new foods and finding healthy alternate options to mainstream foods. I take pride in nutrition and staying active. I find this lifestyle to not only make me feel good but to also give me more energy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to all kinds of music and genres. From hip hop, EDM, to classical or jazz, I don't have much of a preference. When I was working and commuting via bus on a daily basis, I had time to read and relax. I enjoyed reading SciFi and Adventure books. I don't find too much time to watch movies, but when I do get a chance, Action and Comedy movies are great. I also enjoy Documentaries.
