About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel around everywhere I possibly can, meet new and exciting people, and to learn as much as I can from as many different people as I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm Andrew. I'm easygoing, love to have fun and meet/hang out with new people. I love learning new things and gaining new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Right now, I feel that my mission is to explore and find peace. I've been in turmoil most of my life, and I have now a chance to find calm out on the road, so off I go! I love to hear what other people think about everything, even if it's politics. I always try to leave things the same or better than I found them, because I like to give back and help people out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Exclusively surfing at this point. Someday in the future I might be able to host, hopefully!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I actually have zero couch surfing experience at this point... This is my first tour, and my first experience with CS.

Interests

I like to discuss life, and some philosophy, and family, and pets, and the world... Basically, I just love to learn and experience things!

Music, Movies, and Books

Wow. The number of books, music & movies that I like is way too long to list, so I explain- No, not enough space. I sum up. (Bonus points for whoever you are reading my profile right now if you get the reference.)

I like the types of movies that make you think. That goes for books as well. Strictly deep philosophical things have a tendency to lose me, but I love things that need to be analyzed, taken apart, thought about, then discussed and enjoyed. The movie Fight Club is a perfect example.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving, 20 times. I've seen the Euphrates River from 13,000 feet above sea level. I am planning on seeing and experiencing as many amazing things and people as I possibly can!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have many things I can teach people, but I also know that I have a lot to learn. I'm pretty heavy in the 'practical skills' department, as I've been in the construction field for a good portion of my life, as well as the Military.

Of course, the details of sharing skills and knowledge between two people is in my opinion, an excellent face-to-face discussion.
