Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn and grow whilst experiencing all the goodness that life can offer.
ABOUT ME
We are an easy going couple, very relaxed and enjoy being around people. We enjoy spending our time in cafes and microbreweries and exploring our surroundings. We also love the outdoors.
Andrew was born and raised in Kenora. Jocelyn was born and raised in southern Ontario. We both lived in Montreal for some years, and we have been settling into Kenora for the last year and have been loving it.
PHILOSOPHY
We are given only one chance at life and we should use that time wisely. Our experience is made up of interactions with ourselves, others, and the natural world, and we try to challenge ourselves to never take any of these three for granted.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We like the idea of our excess space being open to those needing a place to sleep the night. Travelling without the expense of motels or hostels is always nice too. We enjoy hosting people from different places and hearing about their travel adventures when we are not able to travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We've hosted a few visitors when we first lived in Montreal and many road-trippers and hitchhikers when we lived near the Trans-Canada in Thunder Bay, and have also been hosted in Boston and Halifax. Never a bad experience. We've also been hosted throughout North America and love meeting people when we travel.
