About Me

ABOUT ME

I believe that home is where and what you make it, and while I love my home in Williamsburg Virginia, I see myself calling many places home before returning. I want to travel the world as a person, not as a tourist. Sit down with new friends, sharing stories and ideas over a drink. What good is discovering a new town or city if you don't get to discover its people?

PHILOSOPHY

Get busy living, or get busy dying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still a virgin at couchsurfing but I hope to quickly remedy that.

Interests

I want to taste the wines of the world, as many as possible. In addition to wine I love discovering spirits that are unique and new to me. Some of my greatest memories are sitting with friends, sharing ideas and jokes with drinks in hand and cigars or hookah nearby. There is no such thing as watching too many movies (or anime.)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a musician. I've played trumpet for over 15 years and have been picking up guitar recently, so if you're down for some music of any sort, you've found a friend in me. I love great literature, who doesnt? There is no such thing as watching too many movies. Period.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meditating with Buddhist monks on Koyasan.
Making friends with complete strangers willing to help lost foreigners.
Anytime I get to share good wine with great people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love discussing philosophy and I am a very passionate voice for free thinking. I want to learn peoples reasons for why they live their lives and how those reasons adapt and evolve. By sharing our own motivations and philosophies, maybe we can help eachother walk our own paths a little better. Everyone may have their own personal road to go, but sometimes its good to ask for directions or get a tip on a scenic detour.

Countries I’ve Visited

Japan

Countries I’ve Lived In
