ABOUT ME
I am teaching the shop class and coaching at a middle school in Austin, and I love it.
I'm a relaxed guy who loves adventure. I hitch hiked across New Zealand and Europe- both amazing experiences. I studied geography and love learning about the world, its people, and the interactions between the two. I think a person can learn a lot from experiences like CS and traveling.
PHILOSOPHY
enjoy each day in the present, fully appreciate everything, place others before myself
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed and hosted many times now; I can't wait to get back into it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed over twenty different places in New Zealand and across Europe with nothing but great experiences. Everyone has a different outlook on what is expected in the hosting/surfing process, but I think that makes it fun and exciting.
I was able to host some awesome people while I was living in Seattle, and I want to host more now that I have a house in Austin.

I don't know much about art, but i am very easily entertained. I like James Taylor, Bob Seger, and a lot of folky stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
La Chureca in Nicaragua was pretty crazy. I also hitch hiked over 9,000 miles across New Zealand, Europe, and the U.S.... There are too many amazing places and people to list!
