About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making new friends in Japan and getting into adventures.

ABOUT ME

WE like a chilled out chat or game of cards with a few cocktails over a big night out. Having said that, we love a good fiesta too.

We love good food and wine, but most of all we like meeting new people and seeing a new perspective. We love making new friends that will last longer than a single visit.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's better open minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've surfed sofas and hitched rides a lot in the past. Most of it admitedly hasn't been through CS, but we know the value of friendship and of seeing a new perspective and way of living. Life is about the relationships you make on this beautiful planet and experiences shared are twice enjoyed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've stayed in a couple of couchsurfing friends places, and also met some great people through hosting who we still keep in touch with and look forward to seeing again.

Interests

Good food, good music, good people. We like art in all its standards and enjoy woolly socks and interesting books. We're always open minded to finding another interest.

Music, Movies, and Books

We like arthouse film, but nothing too wanky. We listen to just about any music with any depth. We both read a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked about 800km in turkey. Climbed a few mountains, nothing serious. Learned to let go.

Also, we survived for six weeks on little more than lentils and chickpeas. :S

Teach, Learn, Share

Sarongs are perhaps the most useful thing that you can pack, apart from baby wipes.
Other essentials:
a machete, failing that, a pocket knife
gin

Open yourself up to people and have a little faith in human nature. The worlds an amazing place.
