My mission is adventure...a desire to seek out the new and exciting has been a common theme throughout my life. That and eating oreos.

ABOUT ME

I am an aspiring social entrepreneur who is about to move from China back to the US. Berkeley here I come!

I grew up in Atlanta, GA and moved to Beijing, China with my family from 1991-1996. I returned to Atlanta for high school before heading off to Cornell. I then lived in DC from 2004 to 2012 before returning to Beijing to direct a social enterprise in the experiential education industry. I am passionate about businesses/organizations being a vehicle for social impact and am returning to school to found a social enterprise.

I also use a VPN here in China, so my "log-in from" on CS is all over the map...

PHILOSOPHY

I seek adventure and want to pursue my passions. I am self-aware enough to know my limits but ambitious enough to always want to push them to new heights. I love the power of laughter, openness, and being a good listener. I am a genuine and team-first person and have a strong sense of loyalty and commitment. I believe in being respectful, sensitive, and aware of others and also feel that happiness and success are one and the same.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am brand new to CS, although my brothers and some friends are quite experienced with it. I love the concept of CS and have been doing it unofficially as a member of the ultimate frisbee community, as couches at host colleges were often our lodging of choice...
