ABOUT ME

I'm a 25 year old English man who has lived the last three years in London. Before that i lived and studied in Manchester. I love the great cities of the world and am looking to go travelling round Europe to visit as many as i can. The countryside or the beach generally bores me, i love the bustle and activity of a city, where there is always something to see or do. I love the sense of history and occasion that the great old cities have, imagining all the events that have happened there and the people who have walked the streets.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm always looking to experience new things. I get restless quickly, always looking to move onto the next thing. Life is for the living, for the full experience of the now, not selling your life for some unfulfilled promise down the road.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a total newbie to couch surfing, having never used it before, however i always enjoy meeting new people and sharing our differing experiences and interpretations of the world. When i eventually get my own couch (could be a long time!) i would love to continue to meet people from all over the world.

Interests

I love culture, the arts, museums, galleries. I want to walk the streets and visit the buildings of the great European writers, artists and philosophers of the past. I also love exploring the nightlife of a city, seeing each city's own unique style and community, the music, the fashion and the atmosphere.

Music, Movies, and Books

I try to have eclectic tastes in music but my favourite music at the moment is electro and house, i like to go clubbing! For books, too many to list properly, but as a literature graduate i love all the old classics, particularly Flaubert, Joyce, Dostoyevsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing i've done is holding a baby tiger at a tiger sanctuary. The most amazing thing i've seen is probably the Pantheon in Rome (though all of Rome is pretty amazing).
