ABOUT ME

Site Specific:

Me, 25 year old Scorpio. Twenty five years old is the biggest surprise I've ever had.

Previous residencies:

Detroit, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Oakland.

Location:

San Francisco. I started my dream job as a system administrator. I manage a network of about 150+ users on a mixed Windows, Macintosh, and Linux enterprise.

Orientation:

Hetro. Sorry fellas :-)

Food:

Vegetarian for six years, not militantly

Music:

Viva Voce, Air, Blonde Redhead, Elastica, Jeff Buckley, Social Studies, The Smiths, Strokes, The Fiery Furnaces, Pixies, My Bloody Valentine, Interpol, The Vines, Siouxie and the Banshees, Cocteau Twins, Donovan, (yes I can admit it!) Computers:

Macs over PC's and Linux over Macs

Art:

Decadents, Surrealists, American Naturalists, Situationists, Baroque, Art Nouveau, Gothic, dark noir, and psychedelia...

Original thinkers. Individuals not afraid to be exactly who they are. Good listeners. Attentive to detail. Creatively minded, independent, hip, and some one that might be a nerd, but is definitely not a dork.

Turn ons:

The smell of fresh ground coffee, Matte, red woods, an intelligent woman, used book stores, French films, sailing, Johnny Depp, good vibes, exploring, Old English, unique sense of style, free wifi, techies, old friends, new experiences, puppet shows, street theatre, magick, guerrilla poetry, indy films, antipolitics, old hippies, cyber punks, quantum physics, history, the best life has to offer, absinthe, strange stories, the humorous, wicked, or down right scandalous.

Turn offs:

Hip hoppers, malls, pro sports, American beers, fundamentalists, jesus, republicans, starbucks, transgendered, bad hygiene, ignorance, Hollywood, meth, automobile obsessions, the "M" words (money, marriage, maybe, etc), alcoholics, workerism, violence, mind vamps, the sex industry, instant coffee, suburbs, web design, addicts, california governors, computer dorks, and humans without passion.

You:

Enjoy being blown away by new experiences. Serious, but try not to take yourself to seriously. Passionate about the world around you. Keenly interested in the connections that make history. Can't find a category to describe yourself. Are not average. Will not accept anything less than the best life has to offer. Have difficulty following pop culture. Someone that enjoys good music playing as much as possible. Turns off the TV whenever possible.

PHILOSOPHY

I have been adopted five times: my family of friends, a working class Freemason, a Bengali Muslim family, a Swedish American family, and San Francisco.

I have a half brother (Leo), half sister (Aquarius), and another sister (Sagittarius) not related by blood.

I am the proud uncle of 1.5 year old Leveesa Ann.

I have been robbed at gun point.

I have had four other near death experiences.

I've designed, sold, and supported supercomputers for NASA Langley Space Center, John Hopkins U., U. of Washington, Los Alamos, Navy, Museum of Natural History Manhatten, CNN and other organizations spread across the globe.

I was the Junior Chess Champion of Michigan when I was 14.

I am most happy at the beach.

I have used Linux for six years.

I was active in the detroit rave scene in the late 90's.

I am an unrepentant intellectual.

I love food.

I cant stand boring conversations.

I would describe my childhood as trial by fire.

I'm fascinated by obscure history, unusual subjects, and hidden knowledge

My socks often don't match.
