I am originally from Newfoundland but have also lived in France and now in the USA. I work in sales/marketing for a company that creates audio guides for museums. I've been living in NYC for almost 2 years and have just moved into a great 1br apartment in Williamsburg with my girlfriend Bruna.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like the idea of couchsurfing because it gives people the opportunity to enjoy the real experience of a place rather than just the tourist experience. It's a great way to get to know people from other cultures and share our space for a little while.

We can show you around to some of our favorite places in Brooklyn and Lower East Side of Manhattan. Together my girlfriend and I speak English, French, and Portuguese so it may be a good way to brush up on one of those.
