ABOUT ME

People say I am serious when it comes to how to deal with things like my work and my hobbies, but they also say that my tastes and choices in how I live my life makes me quite a character, go figure.

I think I'm just someone who doesnt really like much stuff, but what I do like, i like passionately. And now I am really into getting the couchsurfing experience happening not only for me, but also so I can offer some kind consideration to others who are travelling around and need either a place to crash at night or just hanging out.

PHILOSOPHY

Well, I really like this part of a song by Laurie Anderson and Philip Glass about a man who wakes up from a dream about his past lovers who pass by his room. He can't get to sleep again, so repeats these words over and over again:

Bravery. Kindness. Clarity.
Honesty. Compassion. Generosity.
Bravery. Honesty. Dignity.
Clarity. Kindness. Compassion.

I just try to use that as a kind of mantra for everything in life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I have some restriction regarding a place to offer. I live in a very VERY humble simple house - made of wood, in the town of Blumenau. It is cozy though, i have a big sofa that turns into a bed. A cat lives with me - Joana.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a friend, Mayra, who is in counchsurfing and she often receives guests. She always says how nice these experiences have been and she has recently hosted two Germans, Wolfgang and Bine, we all hung out together, and they were such nice people that the experience made me consider joining the site.
Have been to Europe recently and the travelling bug has bitten me and all this want for new experiences flourished.

Well, to me, it was pretty impressive when I first saw a Picasso Painting on a museum in Sao Paulo, I couldn't avoud the tears.

I can teach English, and I know a bit of music theory. I also know a lot about cartoons, speacially from the 90s. hahaha.
