About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to see life from the European perspective! Gain knowledge of how Europeans interact with each other and others. I want to learn customs and traditions and everything that goes along with European life.

ABOUT ME

My name is Andrew Bogani and I am a 25 year old male. I already have a lot about me in my interests section and you can see what I look like in my pictures. I'm not really sure what to say here without giving you my whole life story. I'm very chill and reserved but I can be wild and goofy at times depending on my mood. Anything else you want to know and we can talk if I message you about a place to stay.

PHILOSOPHY

"Happy are those who dare courageously to defend what they love"-Ovid

"The only wisdom is in knowing that you know nothing"-Socrates

"Wise men speak because they have something to say, fools because they have to say something"-Plato

Teach, Learn, Share

In ancient times Greece was known only as Hellas. The word that gives us the modern English for Greece was the Latin word Graecia(which was used to refer to the land of the Greeks). The Greek people in ancient times did not think of themselves as a unified people until some time after the Persian Wars of 490B.C.E and 480B.C.E. Before this time the system of City-States or what was known as the Polis(PL-Poleis)was used.

The Ancient city of Rome was said to have been founded in the year 793B.C.E by Romulus, one of two brothers to be raised by a wolf. However experts say that the Latin word Lupa, which means she-wolf, was also used for prostitutes. So was Romulus, the famed founder of Rome, really raised by a Prostitute?
