About Me

"I love traveling."

I say that phrase in the way that we celebrate humanities curiosity. Being vastly curious, I love to explore nature and the beings that live amongst the lands. Most of all, water is my tranquil escape and climbing to the clouds makes me feel alive.

PHILOSOPHY
I am very open-minded and I do not judge what I do not know. I also leave places as they were when I arrived, if not better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing because I want to explore new neighborhoods. Immersed myself in one's neighborhood allows for a deeper connection in with different cultures.

Interests

I enjoy many things: surfing, scuba-diving, fitness (cross-fit, yoga, running, & team sports), backpacking, hiking, music, concerts, reading, photography, and most of all being a foodie. I love trying new restaurants!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love food. I love exploring. I love culture. I love vibrant people. I love being immersed.
I am amazed to say that I backpacked alone in Central America. First starting in Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, I hiked alone Volcano San Pedro. Normally, tourists have a tour guide but a man egged me on in his 60's who hiked it in 6 hours alone. I thought to myself that I am younger, faster, and stronger but that has nothing to do with climbing a volcano or mountain. Needlessly I did not realize the difficulty of the climb, it was 9,900 ft. A quarter away from the top, I realized what it is to have elevation sickness. The climb took me 6 hours. Since then, I've yearned to cautiously climb another volcano or mountain.
