About Me

I'm just a laid back individual who loves to go on adventures no matter how big or small. I enjoy beer, wine, and whiskey and am not one to get too crazy but if the occasion arises, I do what I must.

I love, love, love movies! I love all kinds of sports, reading, hiking, pretty much I will give anything a chance.

Couchsurfing has been very good to me as I traveled to 26 different countries in 10 months and met amazing people and saw amazing things and I am looking to return the favor as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have had great CS experiences (with one exception)!!!! I think this is fantastic network that is great for assisting travellers as well as meeting people from different cultures and countries. I love it!

Interests

I am interested in most things. The world has a wealth of knowledge, stories, and experiences and I am not afraid to try new things. I love sports!!! My passion is soccer!!! I love it so much. I love playing and watching. However, I am better at watching than playing, but enjoy playing more than watching.

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE MOVIES!!! Some of my favorites are: Any Stanley Kubrik movie, Animal House, Casablanca, The Godfather, Kill Bill Vol. 1, Pulp Fiction, Argo, Terminator 2, the Dark Knight Trilogy, I could go on and on as more movies pop into my head.

I can listen to any kind of music, except Country/Western. I love hard rock/metal the most but enjoy many others.

I enjoy reading, but don't do it often enough as I have this thing with movies that takes most of my reading time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done and seen some amazing things. I have run with bulls, seen a beautiful lake high in the Dolomites, visited gigantic Buddhas, walked along a Great Wall, and attended three games during the World Cup, climbed Mt. Doom, visited Machu Picchu hope and many more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to make simple cocktails from the American college scene. I bartended 8 years at a busy college bar. I also studied sociology in college and I am open to any discussions of such. I can share knowledge of my experiences and knowledge of where I am from and where I have been.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Right now I can offer whatever I can. I can help cook, clean, make drinks, talk, joke, go out, stay in, etc. If I am hosted, I feel the least I can do is help out those who are helping me. Obviously, I would want to go and adventure, but I always love company and I will always be respectful of the host's house, rules, religion, etc.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Scotland, Serbia, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
