About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make a positive difference in the world
ABOUT ME
I'm 36 years old. I was born in london but grew up on the island of Malta. I eventually studied law and specialised in human rights. I've lived in various places around the world due to my work as a human rights lawyer, mainly working with refugees in border areas. The last place I've lived in was the Ecuadorian jungle border with Colombia for two years. I also love photography and try to do as much of that when I can.
PHILOSOPHY
First of all, do no harm... and with that basis, try to make a positive difference.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I always try to play my part in trying to make the world a better place, even with just small gestures. Couching Surfing is a lovel idea because it is about sharing and linking people together.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am new to couch-surfing at the advice of friends who have been couch-surfers for years. Nevertheless, my house in the jungle has always been open to travellers and I have met some lovely people who are now great friends by hosting them for days or, when necessary, for months! If I have a space in my house, I am happy to share it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My job allows me to do amazing things... most of all meet great people in tough circumstances and try to be of support. From a travel point of view, I have crossed the Sahara desert by local buses, lived in the Amazon, crossed the Himalayas on a cranky local bus...
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to work as an English teacher. I can also teach basic photography and videography. Due to my work, I can teach about human rights and refugee rights and well as human rights advocacy.
