About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Take over the world.. One couch at a time.

ABOUT ME

I'm always looking for an adventure, so between work and travel, I'm not home often. But I love meeting new people, so let me know if you're nearby and we can grab a drink. I have an extra room, so I am able to host when I'm around.

If you're curious to see what travelling around Southern Africa is like, then go take a look at one or two of our short vlogs:

PHILOSOPHY

Open your mind. Explore. Experience.
When traveling in your own car the most important thing to take with is an empty seat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted people previously, before I was aware of couchsurfing. Since joining I have hosted some awesome people in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Nelspruit. I surfed a couple of couches in South America and Europe. I have never had a bad experience with couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Life of Pi
Jostein Gaarder
Paulo Coelho
And many other books
Movies - I'm a fan of the art movie scene, but I watch pretty much everything that comes out. Not a fan of war movies. Psychological thrillers are my favourite.
Music - I'm fairly open minded when it comes to music, I prefer rock, ranging from hard rock to pop rock. Not a big fan of rap or metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove up through Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Tanzania and Malawi in a SA to Serengeti trip. Camping in the wilderness, meeting fantastic people, going to places nobody dreams of.... It was fantastic. Check out the vlogs mentioned in the "About Me" section.

Teach, Learn, Share

Treat people with kindness and understanding and almost any situation will be easy to handle. Everybody has an automatic tendency toward happiness and kindness, so if you show it first you are likely to experience it in return.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Botswana, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Portugal, Réunion, Swaziland, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, United Kingdom, Zambia

Countries I’ve Lived In

South Africa
