About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Help people travel the world

ABOUT ME

I'm a world traveler who has visited a lot of the world, but there is still much of the world still to be seen. I live in the city where I grew up and am fortunate enough to be in the middle of the action on the westside. I fly about 150,000 miles a year and my favorite part is actually the flying and airport experience.
Though now I'm figuring out what to do next but in the past I've started a healthcare software company and worked for one of the world's largest newspapers as a photographer.

PHILOSOPHY

Either everything is hilarious or nothing is hilarious.

Laugh at everything, life's more fun when even the worst parts of life are enjoyable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Though I usually don't host people I haven't met and sincerely trust from previous experiences, I often throw parties or hang out with people who I am introduced to who are staying at other people's homes nearby mine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to couch surfing by one of my best friends and since then I've realized it's an amazing way to be hospitable and show people around town as well as receive the hospitality of others when traveling. It helps bring a "small world" feeling to what can sometimes seem as daunting travelling.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm eager to learn about other cultures, it is the most fulfilling aspect of travelling. I'm willing to share aspects of my culture as well as I know many people are often interested in American culture. I travel a lot and love to share my tricks and secrets to maximize my travel experience. Not sure why I call them 'secrets' though since I freely share them with any one who is interested.
