CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
What a vain question. My NY accent is quite noticeable; I was born in Brooklyn. Nerdy in a good way, a modern outlook. I am a paradox: witty and serious; outgoing and reclusive. No subject is taboo with me. I am a straightforward person. Politically liberal. I am not inspector gadget, though I look like him here.
PHILOSOPHY
As long as you are not hurting anyone, it is fine with me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Rock (Springsteen), Grunge (Pearl Jam), Alternative, Industrial (NIN) Jazz, Classical, R&B, Doo Wop, and some Hip Hop. Dupstep is not music. It's noise!
Movies: A Few Good Men, The Shawshank Redemption, The Prestige, Elf, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, Dodgeball, Mallrats, Dogma, It's A Mad...Mad World, Crazy, Stupid, Love, etc.
TV: True Blood, Supernatural, Big Bang Theory, Mike and Molly, Two and a Half Men, Whitney, Seinfeld, Real Time With Bill Maher, Moonshiners, etc.
Books: To Kill A Mocking Bird, Frankenstein, Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Edgar Allen Poe, and non-fiction for my research. I wish I had time to read some classics; e.g., The Pearl, Tale of Two Cities, The Grapes of Wrath, Don Quixote, The Count of Monte Cristo, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, etc.
Periodicals: The Economist. The NY Times is overrated.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Several wild things have happened in my life. I was once stuck on a roller coaster. I was upset--not because you would assume it was frightening, which it wasn’t--only because they had to close down the ride after I waited in line for 2 hours to be stuck halfway up the ascent. We walked down the emergency stairs. It was awesome! I ran into my supervisor on a cross-country road trip at an Ohio rest stop. What is the probability of that? I would have preferred to win the lotto with that anomaly.
Went to Yosemite National Park. Drove across the US: North to South and East to West.
