About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Working toward a goal that is much bigger than ourselves

ABOUT ME

We are a married pair with a new son. We run a non profit coffee shop called El Buho. Lots of people think we are crazy, we like that.

PHILOSOPHY

We believe God created the universe, sent his son to die on a cross for our sins, and has given us lives to live to the fullest. We try hard to take Jesus' words literally, and enjoy the freshness and liberty of lives in Christ.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We offer a nice blue fold out sofa-cama that could sleep at least 37 small dogs. We also like to help people with directions and such around town and any other information a traveler would like to know about Northern Mexico.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far our couch surfing experiences have been away from our home. We traveled to Leon, MX, through Chiapas, MX, and to San Antonio, TX with CSing and have had wonderful experiences. We love the attitude that makes CSing what it is - treat others like you want to be treated. That is what we are here to do and the more like minded people we meet the more excited we become about the future of this planet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Andrew - hang gliding (scariest thing in my life) climbed all over NC - Looking Glass, Rumbling Bald, Shiprock, Laurel Knob, Crowders, Big Green, TN - Obed River gorge and T-wall, New River Gorge WV (got bacterial meningitis there and lived), Indian Creek Utah, Boulder Canyon and Eldorado Canyon CO. Also here at El Potrero Chico. I also like to climb every boulder I can get my hands on and an occasional building.

Gena - visited the whole world and has seen everything there is to see except Machu Picchu
