CURRENT MISSION

I'm currently embarking on my first cross country journey with my best friend. We are driving from our home in New Jersey to California and back over the span of about 33 days. We both graduated college in May 2014 and are on a quest to discover America.

ABOUT ME

I am a recent college grad who hoped to be a high school history teacher in the near future. In the mean time I am traveling across the country with my best friend. I like trying new things and experiencing new places and I love trying local foods and beers to take in the places I visit.

Interests

History (I want to be a history teacher), Travel, Cars (Subaru owner), the outdoors, music (I'm a drummer), technology (I love my iPhone and GoPro), meeting new people, and most important exploring new and old things of any kind.

Music all over the rock spectrum, focused on alternative, pop-punk, and the occasional metalcore band.

I love movies, my favorites include Chef, Boyhood, Into the Wild, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, (the next few are lame/cliche) the fast and furious series, back to the future trilogy,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have explored almost every corner of the state of New Jersey and it is amazing and has so much to offer! It continues to blow my mind.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well as a future teacher, I have learned to be able to share my knowledge of American and its unique history and people that make up this country. I consider myself an expert on the state of New Jersey and like to encourage people to visit because it is such a versatile state. I also love to learn, especially about the different regions and parts of the country that I am not familiar with. I also am a drum teacher so I can share that knowledge and am open to learning new skills from others as well. I want to share experiences with new people from around the country and learn from them in ways I could not even imagine.
