ABOUT ME

I am from New York City in the US. Definitely enjoy living in and exploring cities, but I do like to visit more rural or rustic areas for a bit. I have been fortunate enough to get to travel with my family quite a bit when I was young, and definitely hope to do more traveling--as much as I can afford. I am open-minded and like to meet new people. Enjoy grabbing a beer with both new and old friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to surf primarily. But I would also like to host, as long as it is ok with my roommates.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed once in Italy, and have met many people via couchsurfing to grab beers, coffee, tea, or ice cream in Italy and Turkey.

Interests

Enjoy chatting about pretty much anything. Love political and historical discussions, but understand these can get a little heated. I like to go out to bars/clubs, cafes, parks. Wherever you can get a good group of people together.

Music, Movies, and Books

Been reading a lot of non-fiction mostly for the past few years, but always loved books by James Clavell, particularly Shogun.
Like most types of music, although country is not quite my thing.
Enjoy pretty much all types of movies--big fan of both classics and new films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just saw St. Peters Basilica today (14.10.13), truly an incredible place. Cannot wait to see what amazes me next here in Italy
