About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel, Exploration, Extreme Picnicking, Being super stoked!
I am a spiritualist and avid adventurer who loves the outdoors, traveling to different countries, and have also found my awesome hometown to be an incredible resource of opportunity and resource for adventurous activity. I have spent time in ten different countries, backpacked around Europe, summited mountains, ice climb up frozen waterfalls, and even spent time flying in helicopters and hiking on volcanoes for my previous job volunteering for a volcano observatory.
I have an exceptionally great time meeting new personalities and people who are open to share and laugh until they explode. Anyone who loves being outside, challenging themselves to do new things, and can appreciate the balance between adrenaline and a peaceful environment will definitely get along with me and my group of friends.
PHILOSOPHY
I have dedicated my life toward making sure that not a single moment is wasted. To share this world with other people is what makes me ultimately happy. To inspire is the greatest achievement.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the things that I miss about living in the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park was the international housing that I lived at for a year and a half. I got to meet so many new, close friends, many of which I flew to see as I traveled around the globe. What I would love to do now that I have a home to share is have that same experience of meeting new, inspiring people and show them how incredible this one small island is. I've met so many people through Couchsurfer friends that me hosting seemed like the next logical step to take.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
While I have not officially hosted or Couchsurfed, I have done both throughout the years! I've had wonderful people stay and make themselves at home, taken people around the island who I met only hours before, and have made incredible, life long friends in the process. I also have had the experience of being a guest; and being absolutely appreciative of the ability to sleep on a cozy bed, floor, and/or hammock. Either way, I can't imagine not having the ability to share my life with others.
Interests
Loving my friends and family, making new friends, sharing experiences, laughing, camping, cooking, hiking, quiet mountaineering, running, cycling, ice climbing, canyoneering, exploring, getting lost, laughing, lava hiking, helicopter photographing, historical research, creating and finding inspiration, laughing, and laughing because we're already laughing too hard.

In remembrance of my dad and sister, I solo backpacked to the UK, France, Spain, The Netherlands, Germany, and Czech Republic to visit friends who changed my life. I continue to keep the tradition of traveling annually for them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm proficient in photography, digital imaging (Photoshop), and anything related to imagery. If it's taking photos that you're interested, or adventuring to take photos; you've found the right couch to surf!
