About Me

I grew up in a suburb of Los Angeles, California, called Diamond Bar. I then moved to Texas, where I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas after four years. I am now attending the Indiana University School of Medicine in order to become a doctor and provide medical aid in underserved communities. I am Korean-American, able to speak both Korean and English. Traveling and exploring give me immense joy, and I always look for adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I love to travel, explore, and learn. Couchsurfing allows me to do all of those things, while helping me save some money as I do so.

Interests

I grew up playing soccer, and I continue to play regularly today. I love it! I also really enjoy exploring new places, especially when exploring involves eating really awesome food and taking awesome pictures. And I've recently gotten into the craft beer scene, so I am always up to grab a cold one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped and did the world's largest canyon swing in Nepal, experiencing a 7-second free-fall, and moving at almost 93 miles/hour at the fastest point in the swing. It was terrifying yet exhilarating at the same time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like being curious, so I have found myself exploring and learning about many different things. At one point, I considered majoring in cultural studies because I was so fascinated with humanity, anthropology, and different cultures. I have a wide variety of interests, including photography, beer, sports, education, healthcare, food, linguistics, religion, and culture. I'm sure we can have fun conversations and knowledge exchange.
