To give back to the couchsurfing community, but most importantly learn about different cultures and teach my son the importants of traveling and what a great learning experience it can be by hosting people from all over the world

ABOUT ME

I am a 33 year old father of a 14 year old boy. We both love to travel and learn about different cultures and connecting with the people who we meet along the way. When were not traveling and are at home in the everyday normality of life where we are very active in the community with both our friends and family and of course Couchsurfers. Were both outdoors man, we love mountain biking, river rafting, sailing, hiking, and pretty much anything that has to do with being outside. So to sum it up,,,, good food, good wine, good music and great conversation=good times!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Everyone of them have been great, but one in mind was located in the backyard or a great couples house in the middle of Downtown Queenstown, New Zealand. in a yellow camper van. So much fun but yet chilled out at the same time. Mike and had a good time drinking a few beers while out strategy on what America could do to save our eco-system. In South America my son and I stayed with some really great people who made our experience in SA a very memorable one.

Intereses

Traveling, adventure,good food, and microbrews. Good music, outdoors, outdoors and anything to do that's adventurous and outdoors. But most importantly living life to the absolute fullest!

I'm a big Dave Matthews fan(don't hold it against me) Widespread Panic,Jack Johnson, love anything jazz, folk, or accoustic. I just got into Donavon Frankenriter sense I got to OZ. Why am I just now finding out about this guy I really dig his music.

I climbed the Inca trail to Machu Picchu with my son and the highest active volcano in the world 'Cotopaxi' in Ecuador. A really cool thing that happened to me recently was I got to go sailing and cook for Jessica Watson. She's the sixteen year old Australian who just sailed around the world solo unassisted. That was a really awesome experience. After finishing her book 'True Spirit' I got to have a few

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I truly enjoy meeting interesting people. I'd really like to share my experiences as being a young father and having the opportunity to travel with him as well as share my stories of traveling over the past years. I think it's important for my son to learn from other people from other parts of the world.
