ABOUT ME

The following writeup is almost 3 years old, so while relevant, I have changed a lot...

To make a long story with countless fun details short: I've always been a very curious person. I've experimented with computer programming since the age of 9 - at first on a WebTV, not anything most would consider a computer, but I was so interested!

I dropped out of high school at the end of junior year. My parents were skeptical, negative, violently opposed, but it was what I wanted, and I knew I would make it work. As far as education goes, I was and still am confident that I can learn anything I truly want to know on my own. I prefer to guide myself, to do what I'd like, to address what I feel needs to be addressed, to follow my own intuition and excitement. I know me better than a faceless institution.

I stopped going to school about a month before turning 18. I worked with a friend at his place, creating some stuff to be proud of. I got my own apartment soon after. I say this is not to brag, but to describe the setting for the narrative. Being free to choose how I spend my own time on a daily basis has led me to some extraordinary, universal experiences. I considered myself openminded before these experiences, but these times blew my mind far further open than I could've ever imagined. My first encounter with MDMA was a paradigm shift; it showed me more potential for love and empathy than I had ever experienced. My first LSD experiences a month later were even more enlightening. I live for experiences like those, the ones that remind me: "Love is all you need." :)

• Tons: Software design philosophy, development knowledge.
• Quite a bit: Nutrition, health.
• How to sing - A favorite. Euphoric.
• Somewhat: How to play the guitar.
• A little yoga.
• Scattered interesting ideas.

Want to learn:
• More of the above.
• Esoteric knowledge.
• Tons of stuff I haven't listed or maybe even thought about yet.
