About Me

CURRENT MISSION

TO BECOME A world class party ambassador ... or a sloth trainer, no preference :D

ABOUT ME

Me? Hm... where do I start.. well I was living a pretty boring life before I started with my exchange program from back home. Everyday was the same routine, eat sleep go to school and work... nothing out of the ordinary... but then randomly my coworker who worked with me showed me this little gem of a place in sweden called uppsala.. thats when the whirlwind of traveling, adventures, new friends and fun started for me. I have always been an open minded guy but my friends from back home were pretty conservative and did not want to travel much out of their comfort zone, so I decided to do it myself. I always love a good laugh or just random funny things makes my mood very good. I am definitely an avid party animal and wouldnt want to miss anything that is labeled as a hotspot. (I'm working my way into a world class party animal though as you can see in my current mission) . Like everyone who is on couch surfers I guess.. I'm pretty damn energetic and really open to doing what ever there is to do that is fun. I'm easy to get along with because I don't really ask for much, just as long as I get food, water and shelter. Now for the boring stuff. I study in the university of british columbia and have lived at home for a solid 20 years of my life. I study psychology and work under a neurosciences professor as a research assistant ( boring). I lived in the same city and at home also for 20 years and all the friend that I have from elementary school all went to the same highschool + university as me.... wow.. im putting myself to sleep with this crap.. Anyways.. I hate writing about myself and would rather get people to know me in person than just reading some poorly written description about myself. ;)

PHILOSOPHY

"a party is only good when you can party by yourself on the dance floor"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Really not sure how to answer this because pretty new to this...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about this a year ago from my parents but I have only done it once with a girlfriend of mine in Ghent, Belgium and it was the best idea EVER. The hosts were sooo hospitable and showed us everything that is local and there is see and it was such an amazing experience with them. That was enough for me to seek for more couchsurfing hosts!

Interests

I love to have a good time which includes seeing new things (sights, wacky / random places that only locals from the area knows), love to meet new people and making lasting friendships, partying in clubs, traveling (obviously =D ), all kinds of sports and definitely music yeh.. music with a good beat.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really open to any kind of film. I really like to watch foreign stuff like recently I watched a french movie called the prophet which was a solid movie for me... uh.. off the top of my head I can't really think of any good movies so I'm going to list out the genres. I love to watch action , comedy, horror and from time to time animated films. Music-wise I'm open to almost anything besides country and the alternative stuff, I had alot of friends trying to get me into that stuff but I just don't find the singing any good plus U can't really dance to that stuff it's just like chillout music for... I don't know.. I'm never really in a chillout mood I'm always living life to the max. Books? Once I got into university, I have had enough text books to read let alone a novel... so I can't really think of anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having my exchange in Uppsala Sweden with the most amazing people in the world, the Vatican Church, jumping off a moving train in Vienna and landing on my laptop (which broke my fall) and having survived without a single scratch on me, having to stop a fight between a shop owner in turkey and a friend and partying with swedish victoria secret models in a club back in Uppsala.

Teach, Learn, Share

If I were to teach people something, I'd definitely try to show them that life doesn't revolve around themselves all the time because there are way more things out in the world that matter more than some stupid little mishap that happened at home for you or the grades that you get aren't what you have expected. I want people to understand that I was once like that back home always thinking about what I should do next and always planning out things and having barely any fun or learning experience. It felt like I had blinders on and hardcore tunnel vision which was tiring and mostly boring. I would like to show people that they should stop and chill out, experience and soak in life as it is happening now and quit acting like such a racehorse.
