About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Being a conscious North American, I've come to terms with the Silver-Spoon which has been in my mouth since birth. It's my goal to search for what it really means to be human while exploring the world at large.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 25 year old man who has just applied for a bachelor's degree in contemporary music. I'm still waiting to hear back as to whether or not I've been accepted. All my life I've been doing music to come capacity; whether it was participating in high school jazz bands, touring Canada for competitions, or playing in my own band across Canada and recording albums, I've been noodling for a long time. These days I'm without a band as I put my previous one on hiatus to pursue music school. With that said, almost on a daily basis I'm working on my own music. At present my goal is that of self-expression. I try to capture what it means to be an artist in today's world with all the suffering which surrounds us. Musically speaking, I'd like to think my work is unique and diverse. Without consciously going in a certain direction, I've managed to build quite a catalog of work that I'm most proud of. It's instrumentally experimental and vocally raw, shedding light on pain that I've felt and the pain that I feel on a daily basis from all the other souls sharing this world with me.
So since I'm sitting here waiting to hear back from the university, I thought I'd do something crazy like travel on credit for several months; why not? I'm a little spontaneous that way, and it'll either come back to haunt me or prove to be the best move of my life. Regardless, I feel it needs to happen so I'm doing it. I bought a one-way ticket to London, England on May 1st. From there I have a number of places I want to go, but unlike my other trips to Europe, I'm leaving this one up to fate. I plan to do most of my moving-around as a nomad hitching rides on the gusts of wind beneath my feet.
So yea, hopefully if I've messaged you about a couch you'll be willing to help me out on my travels. My travel itinerary is respectively as follows: England, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Lithuania, Spain, Sicily, Poland, Thailand and India.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to explore the realm of human nature. Each day I try to feel enlightened, even if it's from something that is "simple" like cooking and sharing food with those around me. Sadly I'm not a fan of the culture I live in - North America, Canada. I feel a heavy amount of ignorance flowing through my veins, so with that in mind, I want to travel the world and leave no place unnoticed. I'd love to experience pain and struggles throughout my travels. I want to live amongst all walks of life, even if it means sleeping under trees or on couches.
Briefly, my philosophy: to be human - to breath the same air as everyone else and appreciate every moment I have on earth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, every time I step out my door I seem to think we live in a beautiful world, despite all the recklessness going on here and there. I've only been to a few countries at this point, but I'm always so excited to find myself in a new culture. Everything I've seen is amazing and beautiful. Even during my hardest times and most challenging moments, upon retrospection, they are worthwhile experiences to be learned from. I have toured across Canada, backpacked southern Europe, received an education, learned the basics of French and Italian, been walk-on, been appreciated, been ignored. It's all good. It's all a part of who I've become.

Teach, Learn, Share

This is a really cool concept. While on my travels if anyone, whether their helping me or not, would like to jam and pick my brain on music, I'm certainly open. From my experience, jamming is one of the best ways to learn about music and yourself as a musician. Regardless if you're a beginner or virtuoso, I'm sure we have a few tricks we can share.
