Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think this site is a great idea, and i mention it to other travelers that i meet. When i move home to melbourne, i will be living close to the city and i will set my house up to be a good host. I hope to host alot of differnet travelers from all over thw world and show them my favourite parts of melbourne with my friends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed in Asuncion Paraguay, with Jose. Asuncion is really not set up for tourism and it was great to have jose to show me around, he had a dog and a resident water birds that lived in his back yard. His parents would cook breafast for me every morning, and we would talk over the dinner table. i stayed nearly two i only expected to stay a few days it was so great.
Interests
Down hill mountain biking, skiing, juggling, learning spanish. Rock climbing altho i havent done it for a few years now. I like going on big hikes, just about anything in the outdoors i like.

Music, Movies, and Books
movies: trainspotting, almost famous, boy, fantasic mister fox, james bond flicks. anything with Ewen megregor. I liked the series long way round and long way down with charlie borman, and ewen, A river somewhere an australian series. Books: A long way gone, the gringo trail by mark mann, Marching powder by rusty young. The two most recent books i have read are the curious incident of the dead dog in the night by Mark Haddon and a spot of bother by Mark Haddon
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last Year was my rookie season tree planting in B.C canada I was the rookie baller that season planting over 59000 trees.
Travelling solo in south america for nine months in 2008 learning spansih along the way.
Summiting coto paxi volcan in ecuador at 5900 meters above sea level in 4 hours being the first to reach the summit.
Passing the climbing and bushwalking units of my outdoor recreation diploma in 2005.
