About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm a simple adventurer looking for meets and greets across my travels!!!

ABOUT ME

There's nothing much to say about me; I'm a simple,
bon vivant, 25 year old guy, going out on his first travels, looking for his place.

I like to meet new people and see new places. I've travelled with friends across my home province, Quebec, with some friends for a few summers. I've since then had an urge to travel, and finally putting my plan into action!

I'm an accomplished youth worker; having worked in many youth community organisations coming to aid to kids and teens or tweens between 8 and 17 years old. I've studied youth and adult correctional intervention in College, and acquired a Certificate in Drug Abuse and Prevention at University.

I'm a pretty ordinary guy, simply looking for the meaning of life.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't worry, be happy.
Work to live, and not live to work.
Open your mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in couchsurfing mostly by meeting people through surfing experiences. However, once I get settled back in Quebec, I would love to host travelers from all around the world! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed on a few couches since the last 3 months, and every single one of them has been a blessing, a magnificent experience, soul deepening. I have met people from all across the world, and befriended many, I rejoice through the community of this organization. Truly blessed.

Interests

In my free time, I like reading, watching TV series (mostly Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, Shameless), seeing friends, going out and having a blast! I'm a big fan of microbreweries! I like a little light hiking, and camping, and am passionate LARP enthusiast and organiser. I also like board and card games. What really, truly, grabs my attention, though, are new experiences. And such, my travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like sci-fi and fantasy movies mostly.
I like pretty much all types of music, from Blues, Country, Rock, and Eletronica.
I like reading Japanese manga in my spare time. I've quite finished A Song of Ice and Fire series. I'm really interested in philosophy, but never took the time to fully appreciate the many authors I've studied in school.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've met some awesome, friendly people, at the Griffon Adventure Youth Hostel in Gaspésie. The people there were super friendly, and the atmosphere was chill; and the view was amazing. Actually, in every youth hostel I've spent the night, I'm amazed at how people can be so nice and engaging. Those people are the reason I'm now traveling.

I've hiked the second tallest mountain in the Adirondack chain with two of my friends. It was a hell of a ride, but a true sense of accomplishment once we finally reached the top. The view was jaw dropping.

Teach, Learn, Share

I suppose I could teach anyone the languages I know, either French or English. We could share about experiences through traveling and hitchhiking around Canada. I would love to learn more about our world, anything and everything! Peace. Love. Unity. Respect.
