I'm Andrew, an adventurer who believes in kindness. I was a music major in college, until I dropped out and moved to the Congo to work with street children. I love music, kids (I want to be a teacher), soccer, and filmmaking. I can't wait to get to know you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to live life to the fullest! ✌️😝✌️ I dream of seeing as much of the world as I can, and I would love to see your home city from your point of view so I can see something so much more unique than a tourist can. There's so many untold stories and extraordinary places that people can miss if they don't open up their eyes, and I hope to get a chance to see something different

I'm incredibly flexible in terms of planning things to do, or doing nothing at all, so don't worry about that! I'm very chill, always down for anything but also a quiet and conscientious "camper." Whatever you can arrange, I'm incredibly grateful!

Interests

Kindness - This makes me sound like such a ditz, but for me this is my passion. I moved to Congo to work with street children and help those who have nothing, and it's been quite a year!
Kids - Well clearly I must like kids, since I came to Africa to volunteer with them! Actually I'm working slowly towards becoming a teacher so I can one day teach and help children see that anything is possible
Music - I was a music major and I have a dormant dream of starting a band
Football (soccer) - I'm a big fan of football, both playing and watching
Filmmaking - I love telling stories, and for me, I often do this through making videos. I sometimes film my adventures and make videos, because I enjoy finding new ways to tell stories and share the beauty in the world.

We'll get along well! I'm a very open person and I believe 100% in adventure and kindness. I love to learn whatever you can teach, and I also could teach you something, like some people hacks or video-making. I also love nice deep discussions.

I have dreams of one day starting a band, working at Disneyland, visiting 100 countries, learning to surf, and more. I'm confronting my fears one day at a time.

I'm a good listener, and I am a very open person, and I think a lot of people like that.
