CURRENT MISSION
Mission: To have at least one friend in every country in the world
ABOUT ME
**IMPORTANT: I cannot host surfers at the moment - please read couch-surfing section below to see for availability for coffee/beer**
Hello Couch Surfers!! I'm Drew, 26, I'm a qualified lawyer living in London. Don't worry though, that doesn't make me evil! lol. I haven't updated my profile in ages so here goes.
As is probably obvious, I love travel. I've been to quite a few places now, but I do want to visit more!
Unfortnately, I cannot host anyone at the moment - it won't work with my flatmate. But (if I can) I will try and meet up for coffees (weekends) with some people - just drop me a line and I'll get back to you.
PHILOSOPHY
Personal philosophy thats a tough one. I guess I take every person as they come, I am friendly to everyone, I don't judge people by appearance. But I have no patience for people who are rude, arrogant and grumpy. I hate people insulting others just to make them feel better, its one of the worst human traits!
I live life to the full everyday. I try to enjoy every day and if I am having a particularly bad one I try and find the positive, (the glass is always half full!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a surfer and a host when the circumstances are favourable!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed with loads of people and hosted loads of people. I will formulate a list below soon...
Interests
My main interest revolves around music. I try to play guitar and I'm a DJ in my spare time. I have DJed in clubs and bars in Leeds and Sheffield for 3 years now. I have also DJed a house party with in Sydney when I was surfing on Ingrid's couch - it was rather random but quality!
I also like to keep fit. When I get the chance I go to the gym, play squash and badminton. I also have a passion for cricket. I play for a side in the summer months.
I like a good beer as well, but just not any beer - REAL ALE! Proper beer, which hasn't been chemically altered by bigger breweries!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done a lot of things but I am a Yorkshire lad at heart and one of the most amazing places in the world is the Yorkshire Moors - just going for a walk, sitting and reflecting on the scenery is absolutely thrilling - no wonder it got the nickname of 'God's Little Acre'
One thing that I have done - was DJing in front of 800 people at Leeds Uni's Night CLub. Just making that many people dance is an amazing feeling!
Teach, Learn, Share
If you surfed my couch, my friends and could teach you how to DJ indie rock. We could also teach you street cricket - just ask Charity!
When I travel around the world, I want to embrace and learn about your culture.
