About Me
Hello!
I am a 20 year old Linguistics student who is currently trying to reach fluency in French and Spanish. I've been learning French for around five years and Spanish for only five months. I would like to have a female, a couple or a gay male (sorry men who are interested in women, my family and boyfriend aren't comfortable with you staying in my house alone with me!) who is fluent in Spanish and/or French. You don't have to speak any English and I can help you with your English if you need it.
I live in Oakland, California which is about a 20 minute ride on the train to San Francisco and Berkeley. I have a car and can take you around to neighboring cities if you want as long as I don't have school. I will take you to a train station and give you directions.
I'm pretty relaxed so if you want to go out to clubs or anything like that, we/you can. There isn't a curfew at my place unless I have to pick you up from somewhere.
I am not accepting any couchsurfers until the end of January because I am currently in Costa Rica working in a hostel.
There is no minimum amount of time to be here. The maximum is two weeks.
If you are racist or homophobic, don't bother messaging me, we wouldn't get along. :) I accept people of all colors and religions so long as they don't impose their beliefs on me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people from countries I haven't visitef yet. I've only been out of the US twice, Canada and Costa Rica in the last six months. I bought tickets to Europe for next summer so I'm excited to travel more.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I don't have a favorite type of music but I'll be honest, I hate country. I listen to a wide range of music from classical to k pop.
Movies: Amelie, Breakfast Club, and Titanic
Books: I like Jodi Picoult books, Stargirl (This was my shiz in middle school), and Gone Girl
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am a volunteer literacy and ESL tutor. Helping people get their GEDs have made me feel like what I'm doing is worthwhile; it changes their lives.
