About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To speak a second language with fluency and discover as much of the world as I can

ABOUT ME

I am a 27yr old from Melbourne, Australia. I grew up in the country and moved to the city to study IT/Business, which I now have a full degree from. I love to listen to music and keep fit by going running, cycling or swimming. In my spare time I like to catch up with mates. I like discussing different cultures and languages. in 2012 I did a massive 4 and a half month trip overseas in Europe and the UK and wow! What a blast! I saw 17 countries and met so many amazing people. I surfed 15 couches during my travels and made some great friends along the way.

Some of my favourite cities and countries that i have been to include:

Germany
Switzerland
Croatia
Italy
New Zealand
Estonia

Hamburg
Heidelberg
München
Rome
Barcelona
Prague
Lagos
Dublin
New York

PHILOSOPHY

I don't really have a quote or line that I live by, although there are some which I find quite interesting. After travelling to Europe and learning more about WWII and the Holocaust I now have a very open mind and look at everything from a different perspective.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was a member of Hospitality Club for ages and hosted at least 25-30 people but now I find CS to be a lot better structured. During the holidays I like to host people from all sorts of countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted singles, couples and groups of 4 at a time. I have loved most of these experiences as I love to learn about different countries and cultures. I think the number would easily be above 50 with CS and HC (Hospitality Club) combined.

Surfed and hosted so many times and always a fun experience!

Interests

Currently I'm right into triathlons and train hard for them. If you like to do some running, swimming or cycling cardio then this is a bonus. I
