I am Aircraft Engineer. But when I have free time I am just like to have a good time and enjoy life :) name in facebook is Andrew Van Purcik.

I don`t speak about politics and religion. I just trying to live my life with the smile.

The things I like in this life:
Sometimes I like go swimming, sometimes climbing, Airsoft, learning how not to kill myself on the skies. I like to drink on Weekends in good company. I like to drive my car in the middle of the night.
Every year I like to fly to Netherlands just to dance on my favorite music. I like music - I can not live without it.
Basically I like everything that stands out from modern boring life.
And most of all I like to be in places I have never been before, do thing I have never done before and getting know people I never knew before.

Things I don`t like: watching TV, rude people, still hate talks about politics. And I just hate sitting home on the weekend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it is the best way how to learn this Planet. Most interesting and unusual way of traveling and making friends. And let`s be honest - CS saves money as well ;)

I both surf and host. And I don`t know what I like more.

Couchsurfing is more then "free hotel" for me. I like to get know my guests, show them the life in Latvia, learn about their way of life, making new friends.

Interests

One important thing that I didn`t mention in "about me" is Aviation.
Anything that is connected to this word is interesting for me.

Also I am interested in culture of the place that I am visiting at the moment. Traditions, food, way of life....

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Trance, different styles of House, live instruments.
Books: Mikhail Bulgakov, Haruki Murakami, Sergey Lukyanenko
Movies: Oooh....so much movies that I like. I'll better don`t even start writing them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit smoking :D That was really achievement for me.
Also I was riding a bike first time in my life in Thailand when you drive on different side of the road ))

Teach, Learn, Share

I will not bother you with attempt to teach you something in 3 days. But I will share all my free time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer comfortable sofa/bed for the night and some excursions and road trips during the weekend day.
Also I can show you nightlife of Riga.
