ABOUT ME

I am 24 years old and still trying to get out and see as much of the world as possible. I have grown up mostly in the US and Canada. I have spent many summers in Prague with my family there.

I am a forester by trade which I chose due to my fascination of the outdoors. I spend much of my free time with my friends either roadtripping, hiking, camping or skiing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to site, but hope to start hosting people once I have returned from Europe.

I am currently just looking for places in Europe to crash at.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While I am new to the site many roommates I have had over the years have participated.

Many times my roommates that have hosted others were unable to show their visitors around due to school or work. If this was the case and I had the time I would take the visitors around the city to the tourist spots and trendy areas. I have a great knowledge of Vancouver BC so if one was to visit I am more then likely able to show a great time in the city.

Interests

Skiing, I have skied around BC, but really want to explore more of europe and the US. Also a dream of skiing in Japan and South America

Hiking, I have hiked all round North America and would love to continue doing this on other continents

Watching Movies, I spend a lot of my time at home watching movies, I am always up for discussions about cinema, particularly anything that isn't mainstream or hollywood.

Attending Concerts, I will attend anything live, I have been to some of my bests concerts by simply going based on recommendation alone. This attitude though has also led me to attend some of the worst concerts and music I have ever listened to.

Eating new foods and trying new drinks, most of my plans for traveling are trying new foods and drinks of different cultures

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies, kubrick, lynch, brooks. While I will try to watch most movies once I really prefer anything that is different from what most people would watch.

Music, I love bands that perform much better live then what their albums would indicate. That being said I enjoy hip hop and classic rock the most. I listen to a lot of indie and djs also though

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach people about Canada and its natural surroundings. The areas I have been to in Canada are unlike anything else I have ever seen. The country is so untouched and this allows you to witness the beauty that is nature.
