Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't done anything through couchsurfing, but a friend of mine hosted a guy while I was also crashing at his house, and it was such an incredible experience, I knew I had to be part of this community.

Music, Movies, and Books

Don't hold it against me, but my partner has really gotten me into Dethklok lately. But I love pretty much everything.
I'm a movie-buff/tv junkie. I read a lot of ethnographies and comics, but as far as books go I really like Vonnegut, Thompson, and Gaiman.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've done a lot of ethnographic and cultural analysis work, and I love to talk about anthropology, both in a physical and cultural sense-- especially modern applications. I'm a Macgyver chef and love to make great meals from what is available. Also an adapt camper and vagabond, but always eager to learn more.
