CURRENT MISSION

Hi CS community, Ill be Sailing my boat from Kilim Geo Park to the Langkawi yacht club 20/9/13. Ill be taking on some equipment then doing some cruising over the following week. If anyone needs a place to crash in Khua then let me know.

ABOUT ME

I grew up watching Astroboy, Transformers, Voltron and Macgyver. Like most people my age Im 32 and I like to think the characters of my youth rubbed off a bit. I love adventure and big machines and making a contribution when solving problems as required in my profession. I like unreasonable people who aren't scared to do something crazy once in a while. Im living on my boat "Malmuirie" who has become more of a wife than a boat to me. Im in lankawi for a year and would like to meet some cool cats who are interested in (no need to be good at) Sailing, fishing and diving. There's room on the Albatross for guests altho she is without the mod cons at this stage such as Refrigeration, Aircon or showers. Ive become accustomed to showering on deck and use an ice box to keep drinks cold. Kind of like camping but inside a glory box.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Id like to meet people to go on missions with and would love to share my couch and cabins with anyone who would like to spend their time seeing Langkawi from a different angle.
I work for a month then have a month off and spend my time on my boat so I am not always around. Im lucky enough to have a roster well in advance so i can plan ahead.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far ive met some fantastic people and for me, my hosting experience has been unforgettable. Ive met and made great friends who i hope i will see again 1 day in their home towns or wherever.
