About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a freelance bassist by trade that recently moved to New Orleans to continue bass-ing and begin working on a long-brewing personal aspiration: writing music (song) that reaches across boundaries of culture, language, and time.
Step 1: travel much, much more. I'm about to embark on a prototype journey through Europe, busking along the way to hone my abilities as an accordionist & start finding those who appreciate what I'm doing.
I am also: quite easygoing, responsible, independent, and a great cook. In addition to playing bass, I sing professionally; I'm an amateur accordionist; I can play rudimentary ukulele, guitar, piano, & saxophone. Once upon a time I was a competition swing dancer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel frequently to scout music scenes in foreign places and perform (ie touring); I sometimes find myself in need of last-minute (affordable) accommodations as a result!
