About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"To sally forth into the world righting all wrongs!!!"
ABOUT ME
I am currently a student at Skidmore, a small liberal arts school in upstate New York. I will graduate in 2012, and where the world takes me after that is anybodies guess. I have yet to declare a major, but I am leaning towards the humanities if I had to guess (Sociology, English, Psychology, Government etc.). I spent a year in Austria on an exchange with Rotary International. It was unquestionably the coolest year I could have possibly imagined. I lived with two different host families, both of whom I really loved, and attended a local high school (Bundesgymnasium Zehnergasse), which was amazingly cool. I returned to the states with a plethora of friends from across the world, and started college. College, although more academically rigorous, has managed to be a great experience so far. I have been taking care of pre-requisites, swimmign on the team, meting new people, and generally having a ball.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Im living in Berlin for the summer with four other students (most of whom are also Surfers) in a flat in Neukölln. We have a free room, and although our schedules are complicated, and the furnishings might be a little slim, we're getting into the hosting game a little more seriously, so send a message!

Music, Movies, and Books
I really do enjoy a smattering of almost everything musically, with the notable exception of most modern country, and death metal. Beyond that I have a new found appreciation for the Grateful Dead and some other more modern jam bands, as well as a lot of alternative hip-hop. Really a lot of everything musically.
Movies: the matrix, super troopers, fight club, shawshank redemption, jay and silent bob strike back, pulp fiction, the rescuers, the rescuers down under, kill bill, walk the line, crash, sin city, little miss sunshine, The Italian job, dead man walking, Slumdog Millionaire, Planet Earth, and lots more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I would have to say my exchange year is up there in the list of cool things I've done. At the end of that year the organization I was with took all 95 Austria exchange students on a 3 week bus tour of Europe, which was fascinating.
Teach, Learn, Share
Im working on a Liberal Arts Degree in Sociology and Business. Combined with a general intrest/curiosity in technology and the rest of the world I like to imagine that I'm interesting to talk to.
