Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
To expand horizons. Yours, mine, my cat's (he's such a homebody).
ABOUT ME
I'm a television writer and have worked on both live action and animated shows. I'm currently doing an animated series based on one of the world's most popular computer games and it's been a blast even though I immediately die every time I play the game. I'm a drummer in a band filled with Nickelodeon and HBO actors. I'm an occasional magician (stop laughing), an avid photographer and I have a crippling addiction to sugar. I love to cook, I once directed a short film, and I managed to write and direct a feature in high school. They showed it on TV in Seattle. I think 8 people watched.
PHILOSOPHY
Live each day as if it were your last. When you wake up the next morning, think about what you would have done differently the day before. By the time you actually reach your last day, you'll have it down to a science.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host, I am willing to host, and I've made some amazing friends through Couchsurfing. This project is more than just a chance at a free sofa; it's the opportunity to meet amazing new people and open your mind to a world of new things, quite literally.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We had a lovely Austrian couple stay with us and they were as pleasant as could be. We've learned various facts about different parts of the world, simply by observing the way people interact with each other. The people that come to stay with us show up as couch surfers but leave as friends; nowhere else can you find that (except maybe prison depending on the circumstances.) We hosted people from Denmark, Russia, New Zealand and several places I can't pronounce. I've done a bit of surfing myself in Europe, and am about to embark on my first trip to Italy this December where I will eat all of the pasta. Seriously. All of it.
Centres d'intérêt
Playing music, photography, TV (since it's my business,) Vespas, cats, vacuuming, bamboo, IKEA, the London Underground (or really any subway system for that matter,) flying, the piano, living out of a suitcase.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I like books about mountain climbing, people backpacking across Europe, paddling boats around the world...anyone who's been on an adventure and has a story to tell should write a book. I'd read it.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I walked the Great Wall of China. I saved the shoes I did it in, as they carried me across Asia. The wall looks impressive in pictures, but even the sweetest of photographs does it no justice. Climbing to the top, turning around, and watching it disappear into the horizon as the afternoon fog swallows it is a breathtaking experience. As I boarded the bus that took us back into the heart of Beijing, I knew I'd experienced something that I would never forget.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
If you time it just right, you can sneak onto the free tour of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, D.C. where they print all of our paper money. There's a flaw in their system and all you have to do is join the group and you're in. Useful since the tickets are usually all gone by about 8am. It's a good tour for geeks like myself.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
All kinds of fun Hollywood trivia and knowledge of your favorite TV shows since that's mainly what my world consists of. Magic tricks. An in-depth lesson on how to solve the Rubik's Cube (my best time is 66 seconds as of this writing).
