Overview
About Me
I love 3 things the most:
- cooking: I attend courses but mostly I experiment at home and love reading cook books for the inspiration. Cooking unite people, from the ancient times tribes gather around the fire with a food to speak, to share what happened during the day.
- dancing: Iused to dance mostly hip-hop and popping, but once I’ve opened swing dancing (Lindy Hop and Collegiate Shag mostly) - it took my heart forever ♾️
- engineering (my work): I love my job)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm convinced that each person in the world carries something unique and I want to learn them by traveling and meeting unique particles of the world. Especially, I’m interested in different cousins and food traditions as I want to gather to preserve and learn by comparing them.
Interests
Im obsessed with learning about cooking, simple cooking. How to mix things to get a better taste. How different cousins adapted the food preparation through the history to survive, what traditions they developed and why. The food is deeply rooted to the culture, so I getting know people through what and how they eat.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I mostly listen to Jazz & Soul (e.g. Art Blakey, Christian Sands, Ray Charles)
Movies: I don't have favorites but I love movies from the Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarantino. They not generic style makes each movie involving from till the last seconds.
Books: I love Flowers for Algernon (which stays relevant till today), Robert Frost poetry collection and I read a lot of non-fiction books, which I liked (e.g. book about fundamentals of cooking e.g. FoodLab, Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It’s all relative. For somebody, the hike to Annapurna base camp will be a biggest achievement, for somebody completing the important project, that helped others or maybe just a couchsurfing with a strangers is enough to beat all of them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I mentor others in programming
I love listening to people stories, getting know other cultures, it’s something that motivates me to travel in the first place.
I share recipes for simple and tasty dishes.
I love tea ceremonies and would enjoy sharing a few brews with you while telling stories about tea.
