My name is Andrew, I am Russian, but right now I live in Shanghai, China. Since I was a little kid my hobby was to travel, so I've been all over Russia and decided to move to China, because I am really into Asian history and culture. I graduated from the university in 2014, spent a year serving in an army, and then my journey has begun. My dream is to visit all the continents one day, to meet different people all over the world. It is always interesting to meet natives, to get really deep into every country's culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Two different things are very important for me: the first and the most important one is, of course, traveling and exploring, sharing stories and experience, making friends and having fun. And the second one is that couch surfing provides me a very good opportunity to travel as more countries as I can

Interests

Sports: skydiving, basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, I want also learn how to do snowboarding and skiing. Traveling: hiking, cycling, etc. Reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite books and films are based on exact characters, about human'a nature. My favorite book is Hemingway's "For whom the bell tolls". I really love "Anna Karenina" and the masterpieces of Daniel Keyes. Great books are also 1984, Brave New World and "To Kill A Mockingbird"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I did skydiving, I am really proud of it, and after that I felt in love with the sky. I want to try as more things as I can and that's why I want to travel and explore.
