Overview
About Me
Usually, in my experience, engineers are not very social guys, consumed by their work, but in my case something went wrong)
I moved to Antalya in Sept. 2022 after living for 27 years in Russia and discovered that Im eager to meet new and interesting people around the world, just for sharing positive emotions, experiences, n̶u̶c̶l̶e̶a̶r̶ cultural codes and fun stories!
Couchsurfing is a great way to find such social activities! Bar crawls, cosy conversations with a cup of coffee, hikes, road trips - lots of stuff started here from just saying "Hi" on meets and hangouts)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Its all about adventures! I like finding new interesting people with positive energy, make friends, see each other, help each other etc.
Interests
Most of my interests turned into hobbies at some at some point)
I used to play electric guitar for 3 years, but it was long time ago, I m probably rusty) Still its good to grab a guitar and try smth just for fun from time to time.
My interest in music switched to vocals instead - I actively learn to sing and hope to record smth for the memories.
I ve been learning a bit of Turkish. Its the most useful social skill while you staying here and the learning process is fun luckily, but its a long way still)
And I like reading classic science-fiction. Its interesting to see how authors try different views on social and technological advance of humanity.

Music, Movies, and Books
Blues, Jazz, Classic Rock, Metal of all sorts, Synthwave maybe.
Classic science fiction - Lem, Sheckley, Ellison, Simak.
Twin Peaks, True Detective, Fargo, LoTR, Star Wars (pre-Disney), Matrix, horror movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Surviving my childhood actually) But to name smth specific - at 12 or 13 I hit 60 kmh on my mountain bike on a steep downhill twisty and shaky road open for cars. My eyes were wet from the wind and my hands could barely control my bike because of bumps and potholes. If on coming car would appear or smth else would go wrong I would ve died really) Even driving 200 kmh in a car doesnt really give that much of an impression. Dont do that!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you the way to the next whisky bar)
Or I can teach some basics of guitar playing and singing.
Or learn something about cooking, cos Im really really bad at this!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Positive attitude, respecting the rules and requests I guess. Discussible overall, never been a guest before.
