About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Currently I'm visiting New York City as an exchange scholar in history and political science. As I'm a researcher who studies save and rescue and firefighters' volunteer associations, my next goal is to train to become a lifesaver and go on with my research in more professional way :)
ABOUT ME
A sociologist interested in social movements and grassroots politics. I'm interested in how things are generally set up. I'm a bit bore - I'd rather spent time in reading than go to bar or rave-club. I travel a lot, mostly alone and mostly by hitch-hiking - it helps to blow the cobwebs away.
Throughout my life I was engaged into various sport activities including swimming, boxing and Brazilian jiu jitsu.
PHILOSOPHY
It's simple - if you are racist, sexist or homophobic - stay away from me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My room is very small but if it's ok for you, i would be glad to share it with you. In July and August I'm out and in September I move to NYC so I won't be able to host people in this period.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with wonderful people Radu in Bucharest and Masoud and Nasrin in Istanbul. I also hosted a guy from Novosibrsk who is making his round-the-world.

And the Game of thrones, yes sir!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was working as a disaster volunteer after the flood in the Krasnodar region of Russia in 2012.
I have travelled through Europe by hitch hicking in summer 2014 - from Odessa, through Istanbul and Athens to Paris and back to Moscow.
In summer 2015 I was hitch hicking in Georgia and Armenia and in Summer 2016 - through Nordic countries including Iceland.
