ABOUT ME

I am originally from Greece but moved to the UK at 18 for studies. I have been in London since 2013 and loving every second of it. London gives me a small taste of what the world has to offer since it's such a multicultural city. I am a lively, easygoing person, alsways excited about meeting new people, adventurous with food, adaptable to new experiences and hungry to learn from and live in different cultures.

I am looking forward to using couchsurfing again after almost 6 years whilst on my solo travels. See you out there in the big wide world people :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met up with a few couchsurfers from around the world and made great friends with them. I've hosted people before and it proved to be great! I have couchsurfed in France, Switzerland, Italy, Slovakia, Poland and Turkey :)

兴趣

Apart from finding every excuse to go out and hang around with friends, I love drawing (I have been life drawing a lot lately), exploring the diversity of cultures in London in terms of food and important celebrations throughout the year. I love swimming in the sea as you can see on my profile picture! I grew up on an island so being in water feels so natural to me! I also enjoy taking part in volunteer projects abroad. I have volunteered in Kenya, India and Calais, in France before.

My favorite book is the Little Prince. I always discover new things about it when I read it.

I am a huge Disney fan which inspired me draw as a child and to take on animation as a profession ;)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Probably the most worthwhile thing I've done so far is volunteering in Kenya for 3 months with ICS and Baloon Ventures. I got to work with entrepreneurs and help them with their businesses. The best part of all was that I got to stay with a host family so I got fully integrated with Kenyan culture :)

I have also spent 2 weeks volunteering in Rajasthan, India where I visited NGOs and helped them with their work.
