My friends call me Dree. I'm a very outgoing person, love to have adventures, and am really friendly. My two greatest passions in life are music and programming. I was living in Montreal a year ago working on a video game, now I'm in Toronto playing music all the time! Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm planning my first trip to Europe and can't think of a better way to meet people and have a more real experience getting to a know a city. Most of my traveling in the past has been touring with bands, sleeping on couches (and floors, lol). Often the people hosting my band would tell us about cool places to go see.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked up a mountain in a thunderstorm and was almost struck by lightning! Maybe more stupid than amazing actually...
The thing I'm most proud of right now is my band As Above, So Below. I don't really want to say we are amazing, but composing and improvising in this band have been my greatest achievements so far as an artist.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know lots about music! I'm fairly skilled at playing guitar, and know a bit about Arab classical music. I know how to use Ableton Live. I have experience as a DJ, and know about lots of different types of music history. I'm an okay programmer, I know the basics, and am pretty good at using Game Maker.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an okay cook, but I'm great at cleaning up! Dishes, mopping, etc. I can play music for you if you have something to play on, lol.
