Before I used to work in the media industry in the field of business informatics. I love all kinds of endurance sports, especially cycling and running, as well as football. I like to cook (not a good chef though) and have some good conversations with a glass of beer or red wine talking about travels and sharing experiences. In Zurich, I used to live in a shared flat with two roomies. Speaking English and German + some basics in French.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to get in touch with locals during our bike world tour, get to know the domestic culture and receive first-hand recommendations about what to do and what to explore in the area. We are also interested in making friends around the world! Lastly, even though we are traveling with the most cost-efficient transportation type - bicycle - we need to watch our budget

Interests

I am an outdoor enthusiast and love to be outdoors in almost all weather conditions. I prefer being in mountain-rich areas and doing hikes or trail runs to explore the surroundings. With these activities, the passion about gadgets and electronics comes hand in hand like sport-watches, solar panels, tents, stoves etc. From time to time I also like to spend some days in big cities to explore their sightseeing activities until I yearn for pure nature. All these hobbies can be best possible combined while bikepacking/biketouring.
