About Me

Hello, fellow nomads. I'm merely a Chilean guy who wish to meet new faces from time to time. Someone that might be probably studying and working, or sometimes be listening to sweet jazz or writing in front of a window. Always with a good book in hand, and prepared for the little moments.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: mostly instrumental music. I still have my share of funk, jazz, progressive rock, sometimes even the nostalgic thrash metal from my teenage years.

Film/TV: I'm not that much of a film guy, but a bookworm. However, I love when animation and great stories assemble some masterpiece. To name a few, just look at the beautiful caligraphy art of Takahata's The Tale of Princess Kaguya and the old Avatar the Last Airbender series. Most of the works of the master Genndy Tartakovsky. Dead Poet Society.

Books/Comics: I tend to choose reality over fiction (history, biographies, political science, XIX century literature, and philosophy). Sometimes I even read about pedagogy, given that it is connected with my thirst of understanding the memory network. I have an obsession over the Polish history and literature (and language). At manga, I choose the crude and realistic seinen stories.

Videogames: I do not play as much as when I was a kid. From time to time, I change the language of each videogame to play it in a way that forces me to study while enjoying. I prefer jRPGs and RPGs, given that both of them have a lot of text, and, thus, lots of thing to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I travelled as a backpacker, I got trapped in a very small and lost village of a small island at the side of a larger island for 3 days. With other 7 backpackers, we dealt with the rainy days for almost 4 days.
